The Vineyards at Dodon will be a Clagett Farm CSA Pickup Location in 2024
Fridays 4 - 6 pm | May - November
For the second year, Dodon will partner with Clagett Farm during the 2024 growing season to offer up to 70 shares of its highly sought-after Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program for pickup at Dodon on Fridays.
The 2024 CSA season at Dodon will last 26 weeks. Customers can sign up for 13 or 26 weeks. Pickups will occur at the pavilion from 4 - 6 pm.
A CSA allows consumers to pre-purchase vegetables and other farm products for the growing season. Each week, from mid-May to mid-November, Clagett Farm divides its harvest of seasonally available vegetables into shares. Then, shareholders pick up a share of the harvest directly at one of their three pickup locations.
Owned by the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, Clagett Farm in Upper Marlboro is widely respected for its regenerative farming practices, the quality of its products, and its support of the local community. Clagett staff are among the founders of Future Harvest, a regional nonprofit specializing in training farmers in organic and regenerative methods, the Maryland Grazers Network, and the Million Acre Challenge. In addition, Clagett donates 30% of its weekly production to the Capital Area Food Bank and the Prince George's Food Equity Councils Food Resource, providing fresh vegetables to those most in need.
Wines pair best with foods from the regions where they are grown. We are excited to partner our thoughtfully grown wine with Clagett Farm's regenerative farming bounty.
