Comparative Wine Tasting with Wine Educator Jen

Join us for an exploration through the Loire Valley with wine educator Jen Daszczyszak. Learn about classic grapes and wine styles paired along with small bites, while also uncovering the similarities between The Vineyards at Dodon's winemaking practices and producers in the Loire Valley region.

Jen Daszczyszak joined the team at Dodon this summer leading our intimate Tours & Tastings with her wealth of wine knowledge! Jen fell in love with wine while living in Wiesbaden, Germany, part of the Rheingau Wine Region, and began her studies in earnest after moving to the Washington, DC, area in 2009. She became a Certified Specialist of Wine in 2020, earned her Wine & Spirits Education Trust-Level 3 in 2023, and is a current WSET-Diploma candidate. She enjoys helping people understand the reasons behind their favorite wines and exploring the intricate details of the wine world.

Wine Club Holiday Party - Save the Date!

The Dodon team invites you and your guests to gather in the tasting room for some holiday cheer. We look forward to sharing Dodon wines and the company of fellow Wine Club members. 

Appetizers will be provided by our friends at Leo Annapolis. Local Bottle Engraver, “Little Bit Engraving” will be on site to hand engrave Dodon Wine bottles - the perfect holiday gift!

Our team would be happy to secure dinner reservations at a local restaurant after the cocktail hour party. Please contact Regina at regina@dodonvineyards.com or 410-798-1126.

Admission includes complimentary glasses of Dodon Series wines and small bites. This event will take place indoors, and may have to be canceled in case of snow. Space is limited and this event will sell out. Members may bring guests and reservations are required.

A Book Signing and Discussion with Cathy Purple Cherry

Join The Vineyards at Dodon and Cathy Purple Cherry of Purple Cherry Architects for an evening celebrating the firm’s new design book, The Design of a Country Estate, which shares the illustrious story of a manor home on Maryland’s Eastern Shore and how the vision came to life.

6-6:30pm: Tasting room welcome reception, book sales, & signing
6:30-7pm: Cathy will provide a lively talk regarding the book followed by a Q&A
7-8pm: Book sales & signing

Wine and snacks will be available for purchase for the duration of the event. There is no registration fee, but reservations are required.
